The stainless steel mesh is 4 times finer than other mesh visors, flexible, and the frame and strap are made from non-perishable, fuel resistant, mouldable rubber.

What is the recommended cleaning method for Safe Eyes? BACK TO TOP
- Wash in warm soapy water.
- Fit securely to face with headband.
- Store away from chemicals i.e. petrol.
- Note: To adjust pull Safe Eyes strap retaining clip forward, adjust strap and reposition clip.

Safe Eyes are manufactured by Pikes Plastics, Masterton, New Zealand.
Are Safe Eyes safety approved by any Australian authorities? BACK TO TOP
Currently there is no Australian Standard for wire mesh goggles to be tested against.
As of March 2009 there was a unanimous decision made by the board members of Standards Australia in favour of establishing an Australian Standard of our own. It will take up to 18 months to finalise and in the interum we will adopt the European Standard BS EN 1731:2006 to certify against.
